Public Events
Consider us if you are planning a City, Town or Village celebration,or any type of waterfront event. PT 728 always draws large
crowds wherever she goes. In 2008 we participated in Peekskill, NY's riverfront celebration, the Milford CT Oyster Festival, the LI
Sound Striped Bass Fishing Tournament in Bridgeport CT, the Norwalk Ct, Oyster Festival and at a fundraiser for the Nantucket
Soundkeeper in Hyannis Port, MA. In addition to running trips from the Steel House restaurant in our home port in Kingston, NY,
we also visited Higland Falls, NY - Athens, NY - Cold Spring, NY and the Newburgh, NY Waterfront. PT 728 was a big hit at each
and every location.
2008 Milford Ct Oyster Festival
Hyannis Port 2008
We offer narrated dockside tours that include educational brochures available to the public. Our guests also are welcome to view
all of the vintage weaponry on the Main Deck and are permitted to go below for a look at the boat's engine room and crew's
quarters.
The package can also include 1 hour narrated rides that include bringing our guest riders (particularly children) into the action by
calling out targets and bringing everyone to battle stations. Everyone puts on a steel helmet and becomes part of the action. The
rides come to a climactic end with a simulated torpedo run! Everyone returns to the dock with a great story, a smiling face and
sometimes with wet clothing.
We also look forward to working with your town's local veteran's groups while we are at your event.
We realize that no two public events are alike so we will tailor our participation to meet your needs.
Weather conditions may dictate changes to plans or force cancellations.

ultimate in "bragging rights" if you bring your guests out on a genuine WWII PT Boat!
Imagine taking your guests around Manhattan Island before your main corporate event, or on a one way trip up to say West
Point for a tour of the museum and grounds and then a limo ride back to Manhattan. During the fall season you can take a trip
to Cold Spring for a Fall foliage tour of the Hudson culminating with a visit to one of their great restaurants and a night in a
quaint B&B. The possibilities are endless.
You can cater your event or use one from our list of "PT Boat Friendly" caterers. There is a small galley that is available to prep
and serve light meals or snacks. Cocktails can also be served (with care).

728 is the ONLY PT boat in the US that has Coast Guard certification to carry passengers for hire. The simple removal of some
deck railings is all it would take to give this boat its original appearance as a combat vessel. All of the boat's weapons are in
place, and more can be added as needed.
This boat would also make an excellent Film Platform.
We are a "Can Do" outfit and are ready to work with you on any project. Our crew takes great pride in this boat's appearance and
it really shows on each and every outing.

| PT 728 is a Coast Guard inspected vessel certified to carry 49 passengers. The Captain holds a Coast Guard license. The Captain and his crew members are committed to not only making your trip a memorable one, but also a safe one All of the vintage weapons on this vessels are not capable of being fired, all of the firing mechanisms have been removed and the gun barrels plugged. They are for display purposes only. No ammunition of any type is carried on this vessel. |
Hudson River Yacht and Boat Clubs, keep an eye on our schedule. If we
are slated to appear at an event near you, we can arrange to come in a day
early or leave a day later (schedule permitting) and be available to bring your
membership out for a ride.
As with our appearance at public events, we will always work to
accommodate you in every possible way.
Fees will vary according to the distance we must from our home port in
Kingston, or from our previous event.
