
| Chief Engineer Timothy Ivory Tim holds a Chief Engineers license with a 4000 Horespower rating, he is also the Chief Engineer on the retired NYC Fireboat John J Harvey. Tim plays an important role in each and every project Fleet Obsolete takes on. He and his crew also keep PT 728 in top operating condition Tim owns a former USN crash boat and has plans to restore it to its original configuration. His latest accomplishment is the successful recovery of PT 48 from a trailer Park in Florida. |

| Peter Vazquez In addition to being an excellent Deck Hand, Pete provides non stop entertainment for both the public and crew members alike. He has been with PT 728 through every step of her rebuilding efforts and truly knows this boat from the "inside out". His presence during any trip always makes the Captain's job much easier. Pete has also been involved in the rescue of PT 48. |

| Dan Walker Dan is our resident PT Boat expert, serving as commentator on PT 728 during all of our public events. Dan is a graduate of Villanova University and has recently retired from the Town of Oyster Bay. He now spends much of his time researching PT Boat history. Dan is a very valuable asset to our crew. |
| Walter Kupson Walter signed on for a hitch after meeting us in his home town of Milford, Ct. Walter is a Navy vet with sea time aboard the Amphibious Communications Flagship AGC7 Mt. McKinley during the Vietnam war and the Cuban missile crisis, serving as an Engineman. He is a excellent Deck hand and brings a lot of spirit to the boat. He is a welcome addition to our crew. |
| Captain Ann Loeding Ann Loeding coordinates publicity and programming for Fleet Obsolete, and assists in trip planning for PT 728. She is a licensed captain with 15 years experience on working tugs. She has been involved with the restoration and operation of several historic vessels including the 1943 buoy tender "Spar," the 1901 tug "Urger," the 1933 lighthouse tender "Lilac," and the 1881 tug "Elise Ann Conners." |
| Marla Tolson Marla has been part of our crew through most of our 2008 season. Her warm smile greats our guests as they board the boat. In addition to being in charge of ticket and t-shirt sales, Marla always insures that our guests are comfortable. |
| Captain Huntley Gill In addition to holding a USCG 100 ton master license, Huntley brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience as an architect. He is also the Founder, Museum Director & Trustee of Save Our Ships New York who's principal project is the restoration of the retired NYC fireboat John J Harvey. Huntley has also done extensive archival research on all of Fleet Obsolete's PT Boats. |
| Mike Gafney Mike is an excellent carpenter, a welder and a skilled shipwright. Mike has also worked for ELCO (Electric Launch Company) a remnant of the original ELCO who manufactured PT boats during WWII. Mike has many hours logged in the restoration of PT 728 and the rescue of PT 48. |
| Kevin Dermond Shown here standing beside some of his work, Kevin is a very talented iron worker. He can fabricate everything from broken gates and rescue ladders to intricate ornamental work. He and his wife Sue are also the proprietors of the New Ulster Marine in Kingston, NY. |
| Lew Akerman Lew brings his talents as a shipwright to Fleet Obsolete and also fills in as a deck hand on occasion. Lew is a former Naval Aviator and was also a member of NASA working in medical research. |









| Gregory Howell AKA "Betsy Ross" Greg is responsible for all of PT 728's Signal Flags and Semaphore Flags Greg served in the U.S.Navy from Jan. 1951 'till Nov. 1954. Assignments included the Carriers USS Monterey CVL-26, USS Coral Sea CVA-53, USS Gilbert Islands CVE-107. Part of his duties were the making and sewing of Signal Flags. He made well over 200 flags as well as patching up countless dungarees and work shirts for the crew. |
