Join us for a ride on a vintage
World War II Patrol Torpedo Boat

On the Hudson River/Rondout Creek waterfront of Kingston, New York, resides one of the last remaining and operational PTBoats from the World War II era.

PT728 has been refurbished and restored, and is available to the public for regularly scheduled rides and for private charters and programs.

We offer interpretation and education, as well as the thrill of experiencing what the soldiers and sailors of the greatest generation experienced as they served on PTBoats during World War II.

The PTBoat Museum in Kingston is more than just a ride on a PTBoat.

  • It is part of Historic Kingston Waterfront Museum, a collection of tugboats and other historic vessels and artifacts.
  • It is an exhibition and restoration shop located in the turn-of-the-century Cornell Shops Building, which has been nominated as a National Historic Place, and also home to a community boat-building workshop.
  • It tells the stories of those who conceived, built, and served on our vessels. We can tailor a program to your needs. Whether you have 45 people in your group, or have a smaller group; and from a one and a half hour trip to an all day excursion, we can accommodate you.
